Key Dates for the 2026-27 Women's Football Season
The 2026-27 season for women's football is underway, with Champions League qualifiers already in progress and the Women's Africa Cup of Nations currently taking place. Towards the end of August, the FA Cup preliminary rounds will start, followed by the kick-off of the Women’s Super League (WSL) and Women’s Super League 2 (WSL2) campaigns in early September.
The Subway Players Cup, also known as the League Cup, begins in September, while the full rounds of the FA Cup start from late October onwards. Throughout the season, there will be five international breaks leading up to the 2027 Women’s World Cup, which Brazil will host in June and July.
