Arsenal’s Barcola hope and Kounde intrigue

Arsenal have been given fresh encouragement in their pursuit of Bradley Barcola. Liverpool, who had been deep in talks for the forward, are now reported to be ready to walk away from negotiations after growing frustrated with the process. Howe has since departed, with Matthias Jaissle now in charge, but Hall’s frustrations are said to persist and his desire for a move has not cooled.

Myles Lewis-Skelly’s name has also entered the conversation. The versatile defender has been offered to both Chelsea and United after Bruno Guimaraes’s move to Arsenal left his own future in doubt.

Chelsea land Chavarria and eye Enzo interest

Chelsea, as ever, are in the thick of it. The club have announced the signing of Pep Chavarria, their ninth addition of the summer.
