Arsenal Returns to Iconic Yellow for 2026–27 Third Kit

For the upcoming season, Arsenal has reintroduced their famous yellow shade in the new 2026–27 third kit. The club is known primarily for its red, but yellow has been an alternate color since the 1950s, featured in some of the most memorable shirts in their history.

After not wearing yellow on the pitch since the 2021–22 season—reserving it mostly for lifestyle gear—the Gunners will once again don this popular color in competition next season.

The launch tagline “Arsenal State of Mind” reflects the club's identity as more than just a team, embodying a collective sense of ambition and potential. Following last season’s Premier League triumph, expectations are sky-high as Mikel Arteta’s squad aims to add European success.

This new kit represents progress and the pursuit of greater achievements. It pairs the yellow jersey with navy shorts and socks, now available through Arsenal and adidas.

“Being part of Arsenal means being part of something bigger than yourself,” said Alessia Russo, forward for Arsenal Women. “There’s a sense of belief, ambition and togetherness that connects everyone who loves this club. We can’t wait to wear this kit and create more amazing memories with our supporters this season.”

Kai Havertz, striker for Arsenal men’s team, emphasized the high ambitions with the new kits. “We want all the trophies,” he declared. “That’s what we’re here for. We won the Premier League now but there’s a lot more that we can do.”

He added, “We have to reach another level to make that happen because we know how long the season is and how hard it is to go through all the competitions. We want to do it better again this year and make things happen again.”

Havertz pointed out the need to improve constantly: “I think we can, or we have to go further. You see especially other teams getting better, so we have to step up another level again. I think that’s what we’re all here for, that’s what we train for. We want to start strong and reach our goals this season again.”
