Barcelona Transfers: Ferran Torres to PSG Opens Door for Rodri

From both a sporting and financial angle, the message from within the club is clear – they are satisfied. The money can now be redirected towards players fully aligned with Hansi Flick’s project.
Rodri in sight
While haggling with PSG over Torres, Barcelona have been locked in parallel talks with Manchester City over Rodri. No final agreement yet, but the negotiations are described as advanced.
Once Torres’ sale is officially confirmed, Barça expect that cash and salary space to give fresh impetus to the Rodri operation. The World Cup-winning midfielder is viewed by Flick and his staff as a transformative signing, a structural pillar rather than a luxury.
