Juventus Finalizes Deal for Randal Kolo Muani from PSG
Juventus have dragged one of this summer’s most tangled transfer sagas over the line, striking a final agreement with Paris Saint-Germain for Randal Kolo Muani after negotiations that threatened to implode more than once.
What looked, at various points, like a deal doomed to collapse is now locked in: Kolo Muani is heading back to Turin.
A Complex Deal, Finally Done
According to Sky Sport Italia, Juventus will pay 38 million euros for the France international, with bonuses that could add a further 12 million euros. The structure is a loan with an obligation to buy, but with a crucial twist: the obligation only activates if Juventus qualify for a European competition next season, not just the Champions League.
That detail matters. Earlier versions of the agreement had tied the obligation solely to Champions League qualification, a far riskier bet in a Serie A that has become far more congested at the top. Broadening the condition to any European qualification gave Juventus enough room to commit.
French outlets had already signalled that the deal was effectively done, with Kolo Muani expected to travel within 48 hours to complete his medical and sign his contract. Those timelines now align with the confirmations emerging from all sides.
Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the 38 million euros cover both the loan and the permanent transfer, with incentives potentially reaching 12 million euros. Fabrizio Romano has underlined that the guaranteed portion of the deal exceeds 43 million euros, while Alfredo Pedullà has pushed the possible total up to 50 million euros, noting that some of the bonuses are tied to difficult performance conditions.
In other words: Juventus have secured a major attacking piece on terms that carry upside but also a measure of protection.
The Contract and the Bet
Kolo Muani is expected to sign a five-year deal in Turin. His salary will sit at around 5.5 million euros per season, with another 1.5 million euros available through performance-related bonuses.
It is a clear statement of faith. Juventus are not paying superstar wages, but they are investing like a club that believes there is still a top-tier forward to be unlocked.
For PSG, the numbers tell a different story. They brought Kolo Muani in from Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer of 2023 for 95 million euros, one of the headline moves of that window. The return has been underwhelming. He never truly became the reference point they imagined, and his time in Paris drifted rather than detonated.
The result is a move that looks, on paper, like a loss for the French champions. From 95 million outlay to a package that may top out at 50 million, and only if the toughest bonus clauses are met.

This will not be Kolo Muani’s first taste of life in black and white. He spent six months on loan at Juventus in 2025, a brief spell that offered glimpses but no lasting transformation. Last season he moved again, this time to Tottenham Hotspur, searching for rhythm and confidence in the Premier League.
Now comes another reset.
For Juventus, this is about more than just adding another forward. It is about finding a striker who can stretch defences, press from the front, and still offer the penalty-box presence that has too often gone missing in recent years. The financial structure — loan now, obligation triggered by European qualification — fits a club still managing its accounts carefully while trying to return to the elite.
For Kolo Muani, it is sharper still. The fee, the clauses, the salary, the previous price tag at PSG: all of it will follow him into the dressing room and onto the pitch. He arrives not as a prospect, but as a player who must prove he can be the leading man at a club with unforgiving expectations.
