Juventus Pursue Zirkzee After Premier League Struggles

Joshua Zirkzee walked into Old Trafford in 2024 as the latest great attacking hope, a £36.5 million bet on potential after a dazzling season with Bologna. A year on, Manchester United are open to cashing in, and Europe’s heavyweights are circling.

According to The Athletic, the Dutch striker has become one of this summer’s most active names on the market, with his camp now assessing a growing list of options. The interest is real, and it is varied.

Two unnamed Premier League rivals have already tested the water, checking on his situation as United signal a willingness to sell. Ajax also made contact to gauge the club’s stance, sensing an opportunity to bring the 23-year-old back to the Eredivisie.

That window appears to have closed almost as quickly as it opened. Ajax have moved for Marcos Leonardo and Tolu Arokodare, and with those arrivals in place, they are not expected to chase Zirkzee any further.
