Lazio Targets Milan Defender Fikayo Tomori for Summer Move
Lazio are circling around Fikayo Tomori, sensing an opportunity that would have seemed unlikely not long ago. According to Il Messaggero, via LaLazioSiamoNoi, the Biancocelesti have identified the Milan center-back as a prime candidate to shore up their defense this summer.
At San Siro, Tomori has slipped down the hierarchy under new coach Ruben Amorim. The 28-year-old endured a flat 2025/26 campaign, turning out 33 times in Serie A but rarely hitting the commanding levels Milan expected when they brought him in from Chelsea in 2021. The verdict from the new regime has been clear: Tomori is not central to Amorim’s project.
Milan’s stance has opened the door. After bringing in Mario Gila from Lazio, the Rossoneri are prepared to cash in on Tomori, whose contract runs out at the end of next season. Interest from the Premier League, once a reliable safety net for a player of his profile, has cooled. His future is now wide open.

Milan have their own problems to solve. Pervis Estupiñán struggled badly in his first season in Italy, leaving the left-back position as an urgent issue for the summer. Milan, in turn, would address a problematic position while avoiding the nightmare scenario of losing Tomori for nothing in a year’s time.
