Italy’s head coach, Roberto Mancini, has also made his case to Tresoldi, attempting to bring him back to his homeland’s senior squad. Tresoldi responded to Mancini with the same honesty he offered Klopp, emphasizing his split allegiance. Born in Sardinia and spending his early years in Italy before moving to Germany at 13, Tresoldi’s connection to Italy runs deep. Besides Italy and Germany, he is also eligible for Argentina through his mother, but his current focus lies on Europe. He explained, "It’s not just my father who comes from Italy. I was born there and grew up there."
