North Dakota Hosts Florida Atlantic for Historic Matchup

GRAND FORKS, N.D. – After a bruising swing through California that yielded a draw, a defeat and plenty of lessons, North Dakota returns to the comfort of Bronson Field on Sunday chasing a reset and a little bit of history.

For the first time, the Fighting Hawks will face Florida Atlantic, with the Owls flying north for a noon kickoff on September 13. The all-time series stands at 0-0-0 for the simple reason that it doesn’t exist yet; this is the opening chapter.

It comes at a key moment in North Dakota’s schedule. The match is the program’s only contest of the week, a clear focal point in the calendar and a chance to regroup before the non-conference window slams shut. It’s also the second-to-last game of the 2026 non-league slate, sharpening the stakes as UND looks to fine-tune before conference play.
