Osman Foyo Joins Rhode Island FC After AFC Wimbledon Stint

Striker Osman Foyo has officially signed with Rhode Island FC, a team competing in the USL Championship. The 21-year-old forward leaves AFC Wimbledon after a period that began in January 2025 when he transferred from Ipswich Town.

During his time at Wimbledon, Foyo made 15 appearances. He contributed to the club’s push to reach League One, appearing six times in that promotion season. In the following year, he played nine more matches and spent part of the season on loan at Sutton United, a National League side, where he found the net twice in ten games.

Foyo's move to Rhode Island FC marks a new chapter as he continues his career across the Atlantic. His experience in England’s lower leagues and National League could prove valuable in the competitive environment of the USL Championship.
