Championship club Swansea City has finalized the signing of 20-year-old Ghanaian winger Joseph Opoku, who arrives from Belgian outfit Zulte Waregem. Opoku's move marks a significant step in his career after contributing to Zulte Waregem's promotion to the Belgian Pro League following his 2024 arrival.

Contract Details and Coach's Perspective

The player has committed to a four-year contract with the Swans, including an option for an additional year. Head coach Vitor Matos shared thoughts on Opoku's attributes: "He is a young player, who has been exposed to a lot of senior football in Belgium. He will be able to adapt to the physicality, intensity, and volume of games in the Championship as we know he is a fast and sharp player."
