Beşiktaş Dominates Marseille 4-1 in Europa League Opener

Beşiktaş opened their UEFA Europa League season with a statement. Under the Istanbul lights, they dismantled Marseille 4-1, turning an even first half into a ruthless second‑half show of power.

They didn’t. The final blow came on 81 minutes. Poku, set up by Olaitan after a neat combination with Vlahovic, applied the finish to cap a sweeping move and seal a commanding 4-1 victory.

Three points, four goals, and a home crowd sent away with the feeling that this Europa League campaign might be worth clearing the calendar for.
