Boxing Pound-for-Pound Rankings November 2026: Canelo Alvarez Reenters Top 10 After Dominant Win Over Mbilli

Naoya Inoue remains the undisputed super bantamweight champion and holds the No. 1 spot as he eyes a superfight with Jesse Bam Rodriguez in March 2027. Should that fall through, Inoue aims to move up to featherweight to become a five-division world champion.

Tied at No. 2 are Oleksandr Usyk, former undisputed cruiserweight and heavyweight champ, and David Benavidez, the unified WBA & WBO cruiserweight king. Usyk, at 39, plans to return to cruiserweight for another run at undisputed status, possibly facing Benavidez in a four-belt unification. Benavidez is set to fight WBC champ Michal Cieslak on Dec. 5 in Arizona, aiming to get closer to undisputed cruiserweight dominance.

Jesse Bam Rodriguez sits at No. 4 after becoming a three-division world champion in June. A showdown with Inoue next March could reshape the pound-for-pound landscape.

Shakur Stevenson holds No. 5, despite recent promotional uncertainties. The WBO super lightweight champ has been ordered to defend his title against Raymond Muratalla, promising an engaging matchup.

No. 6 is Dmitry Bivol, the WBA/WBO/IBF light heavyweight champion who avenged a prior loss to Artur Beterbiev. Bivol is gearing up for a December fight with Callum Smith and may pursue further high-profile bouts next year.

Devin Haney ranks seventh, holding the WBO welterweight belt. After wins across three divisions, he finally secures a unification bout with IBF champ Liam Paro on Dec. 19.

Jaron Boots Ennis stays at No. 8 as the unified WBA/WBO super welterweight champ. With a fight against IBF champ Josh Kelly scheduled for February and potential undisputed title talks, his path is promising.

No. 9 newcomer O Shaquie Foster grabbed three belts this year and emerged as a likely Fighter of the Year. He’s set for a big 2027 following victories over top names like Emanuel Navarrete.

Canelo Alvarez returns to the rankings at No. 10 after his commanding decision win over Christian Mbilli in Riyadh. Showing more activity and aggression than in recent years, Alvarez reminded fans why he's still elite in super middleweight.

Women’s Pound-for-Pound Rankings

Claressa Shields takes the unanimous No. 1 spot following Katie Taylor’s retirement. Returning to middleweight closer to her prime, Shields faces worthy opponents like Chantelle Cameron and Lauren Price as she looks to dominate the division.

Gabriela Fundora holds second place, having unified the flyweight titles and defended them with multiple knockouts. At 24, she’s the youngest undisputed champion of the four-belt era and a rising face in women's boxing.

Chantelle Cameron is third after claiming the unified super welterweight crown, including a notable upset over Mikaela Mayer. She aims to continue building momentum at 154 pounds.

Amanda Serrano, the WBA/WBO featherweight champ, is fourth as she nears retirement following a long, decorated career with seven division titles and legendary rivalries, especially with Taylor.

Dina Thorslund stands fifth after regaining undisputed bantamweight status post-maternity leave by decisively beating Cherneka Johnson.

Alycia Baumgardner is sixth, defending her unified super featherweight belts and preparing for a lightweight title challenge this Sunday against Elif Nur Turhan.

Ellie Scotney, former undisputed super bantamweight champ, holds seventh. Known for technical skill rather than knockouts, she had to withdraw from a recent featherweight title shot due to injury.

Caroline Dubois reached eighth place after unifying lightweight titles with a tough win over Terri Harper. She pushes for a major fight against Baumgardner to establish a new face in women’s boxing.

Tied for ninth are Mikaela Mayer, who continues to hold the WBO welterweight title despite setbacks, and Lauren Price, the WBA, WBC, and IBF welterweight champion who remains undefeated since turning pro.
