Bradley Barcola Joins Liverpool: A New Chapter Begins

Bradley Barcola has completed his move to Liverpool, signing a long-term deal at the AXA Training Centre after passing his medical and finalising the transfer.

The 21-year-old French forward, who will wear the No.29 shirt, spoke of the scale of the moment for him.

"It's a great pride to be able to play for Liverpool. I'm very happy," he told Liverpoolfc.com. "It took a long time but I'm really happy today to be able to play for Liverpool and all I want is to be on the pitch and be able to play.

"I hope to achieve very big things. First of all, winning the Premier League – it's one of my biggest dreams in my life.

"It is to do that and to stay in this team in the long term – that's why I signed a long contract – and I hope I can do it."

A Versatile Attacker With Elite Pedigree

Barcola arrives on Merseyside as one of Europe’s most intriguing attacking prospects, comfortable operating anywhere across the front line.

He joins Liverpool after a prolific three-year spell with PSG, where he made 152 appearances, scored 39 goals and provided 35 assists. During that period he stacked up major honours at Parc des Princes, including back-to-back Champions League titles and three consecutive Ligue 1 crowns, underlining his experience at the very top level despite his age.

His rise began at Olympique Lyonnais, where he made his senior debut in November 2021. Barcola went on to register seven goals and 11 assists in 47 games for Lyon before PSG secured his signature in August 2023.

International Impact

France quickly followed. Barcola made his senior debut for the national team in June 2024 and has already collected 28 caps, scoring six times.

Three of those goals came at this summer’s World Cup, where he featured in every game of France’s run to a fourth-placed finish, showcasing his ability on the biggest stage.

Now he swaps Paris for Anfield, medals already in his luggage and a Premier League dream firmly in his sights.
