A total of 36 teams will compete in the league phase. Of these, 29 clubs earned direct entry, while seven spots will be decided through playoffs.

The top four teams from each of the four highest-ranked UEFA leagues gain automatic group stage access. The fifth-ranked league sends three teams directly, the sixth-ranked two, and leagues ranked seven to ten send one team each.
