Serhou Guirassy and Fabio Silva are tearing teams apart. Week after week, same story, new victims.

The Borussia Dortmund duo lit up last weekend’s comeback against TSG Hoffenheim, combining for two goals and an assist. Guirassy, dropping deep and knitting play together, slipped in his Portuguese partner for the crucial 2-2 equaliser that flipped the game’s momentum.

The partnership didn’t cool off in Europe. In the Champions League against Villarreal, the roles rotated but the damage looked familiar. Guirassy struck twice, one of those goals arriving from a Silva assist, as the pair again carved open a top-level defence.

“He and I really enjoy playing together, and we have a lot of fun in training. He’s a great player,” the Guinean told Amazon Prime after the match, a simple explanation for a combination that currently looks unstoppable.

And they’ve brought that same rhythm straight back into the Bundesliga. In the ongoing clash with Paderborn, “Guirassylva” delivered again. Guirassy threaded a pass through the lines, Silva stayed ice-cold in front of goal, and Dortmund were 1-0 up.

That makes an astonishing eight goal contributions between them in just one week.

And with time still on the clock against Paderborn, the numbers might not stop there.
