Inter Milan Pursues Curtis Jones as Frattesi Interest Grows

Inter Milan’s move for Curtis Jones is beginning to take shape, with the Italian champions quietly shifting pieces to clear a path for the Liverpool midfielder.

The key domino could be Davide Frattesi. Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano reports that Lazio have approached Inter over a deal for the Italy international, a move that would open space in Simone Inzaghi’s midfield and, crucially, on the wage bill. If Frattesi moves on, Inter’s long-standing interest in Jones suddenly looks far more actionable.

That interest is not going away. Italian journalist Gianluigi Longari of TV Dello Sport states that Jones remains Inter’s priority target for the middle of the pitch, with the club preparing to go back to the table with Liverpool:

“Curtis Jones remains Inter's first choice for the midfield. The ongoing work on the departures (Frattesi and others) will lead the Nerazzurri to relaunch talks with Liverpool to get closer to the Reds' demands.”

The message is clear: Inter know who they want, and they are reshaping their squad to get him.

On the player’s side, the stance is already set. Jones has, according to the same reporting, given his approval to the move and wants the transfer to happen.
