After a turbulent spell marked by a series of controversies, Gabriel’s stance has hardened.

Gabriel’s camp see La Liga as the ideal setting for his growth, a league they believe can best refine his technical qualities and game intelligence. From that perspective, Barcelona and Real Madrid stand out as the two most powerful platforms for him to one day break through at the very top.
That view, though, does not close the door on Germany or France. A compelling sporting and financial package from Bayern or PSG could still jolt the picture.
For now, the fight feels increasingly like a Clasico played off the pitch.
Drawn to Barcelona, watching Madrid
Within that Spanish duopoly, Barcelona currently have a subtle edge.
