The home jersey brings back the iconic three stripes at Anfield, while the away kit takes inspiration from memorable designs of the mid-1980s. The new home shirt dropped on May 19th, 2026. It draws heavily from the classic adidas Liverpool kit worn between 1989 and 1991, a period when Kenny Dalglish’s squad clinched the 1989/90 league title. The deep red jersey features a modern geometric pattern echoing the original but with a sharper, contemporary look. White details highlight the club crest, adidas logo, and trims, reinforcing the vintage feel.

The away jersey continues the retro theme with a design inspired by the club’s 1980s away shirts. It sports a clean white background complemented by red and grey touches. The adidas Trefoil logo returns alongside a heritage Liver bird crest, enhancing the nostalgic vibe.

Third Kit Preview & Expected Release
The third kit is rumored to be the boldest of the collection. It uses a black base with a maroon wavy graphic that wraps around the torso and sleeves. This design is said to represent the motion of checkerboard flags waved by fans on the Kop during celebrated European nights.
This kit is expected to launch in August 2026, giving fans an edgy alternative for the season.
