Lucy O’Brien Signs New Deal with Ipswich Town
Ipswich Town have secured a key piece of their attacking core, with Lucy O’Brien signing a new contract that keeps her at Portman Road through the 2026/27 season.
The 22-year-old, a former England youth international, had been heading towards the end of her deal this summer. Ipswich have moved decisively to remove any uncertainty, tying down a player who has grown up with the club and become one of the faces of their women’s side.

O’Brien is Ipswich through and through. She came through the club’s academy system, stepped into senior football in blue and white, and has yet to play for anyone else at first-team level.
