Mohamed Salah wasted no time announcing himself in Turkey, hitting a decisive brace as Trabzonspor edged Istanbul Basaksehir 2-1.
The former Liverpool star, who signed a two-year deal with the Super Lig club at the start of August, had eased his way in with a debut off the bench in last week’s 1-1 draw at Kasimpasa. This time he was unleashed from the start – and needed only eight minutes to justify the decision.
