PSG vs Lille: Luis Enrique's Tactical Changes for Ligue 1 Clash

Paris Saint-Germain head north on Friday night still chasing their first Ligue 1 win of the season, and Luis Enrique is ready to shake the tree.

Held 2-2 at home by Rennes on the opening weekend, PSG travel to Lille for the curtain-raiser of matchweek two with a reshuffled XI and some bold positional calls, according to L'Équipe.

Enrique rings the changes

Four changes are expected from the side that let Rennes escape Paris with a point.

In defence, Nuno Mendes remains sidelined through injury, but the left flank will still look different. Lucas Hernández is set to drop out, with Lucas Digne coming in at left-back to offer fresh legs and a more natural wide presence.

On the opposite side, Enrique is ready to gamble. Warren Zaïre-Emery is tipped to start as an unorthodox right-back, replacing Achraf Hakimi. The move would push one of PSG’s brightest midfield talents into a hybrid role, tasked with building play from deep and tucking inside when needed.

The reshaping continues in midfield. Lucas Beraldo is expected to come in for Vitinha, adding a different profile in the centre of the pitch as PSG look for greater control after being opened up too easily by Rennes.

Up front, one of the headline acts will sit this one out. Ousmane Dembélé is set to be rested, opening the door for Ferran Torres to make his full debut. The Spaniard earned that opportunity the hard way, coming off the bench last time out to score twice and drag PSG to that 2-2 draw.

If selected, Torres will join a new-look attacking line built around mobility and technical quality rather than pure star power.
