Real Madrid's preseason included home games at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano in Madrid against Alcorcon and Leganes. They then traveled to Austria’s Worthersee Stadion for a draw with Fiorentina, followed by a win in Budapest versus Ferencvaros. Matches against Deportivo La Coruna and Schalke took place at their respective home grounds.
