Richarlison Left Out of Tottenham's Premier League Squad

Tottenham Hotspur have shut the door on Richarlison’s Premier League season before a ball has even been kicked in anger.

The Brazilian forward has been left out of Spurs’ 25-man Premier League squad, a clear signal that he does not figure in Roberto De Zerbi’s plans. For a player who arrived in north London as a marquee signing and a Brazil international, it is a brutal comedown.

Richarlison had looked for a way out. British reports indicate he pushed for a return to Everton in the final days of the transfer window, hoping to rediscover the version of himself that once lit up Goodison Park and made him a force in English football. The move never materialised. Talks did not reach the finish line. He remains a Tottenham player, but not one De Zerbi intends to use in the league.

The calendar, though, offers a slim lifeline. Transfer windows in several countries remain open, and Saudi Arabia and Turkey stand out as the most realistic options. Both leagues can still do business, both have the financial muscle or competitive platform to tempt a player of his profile.

For Richarlison, a move there would not just be a fresh start. It would be a chance to draw a line under a messy, stuttering spell at Tottenham and finally reclaim a career that keeps slipping out of his own hands.
