Tottenham's Transfer Window: Key Departures and New Signings

Tottenham are braced for a busy finish to the window, with Standard Sport understanding they have agreed a deal with Juventus for Pape Matar Sarr to leave on loan, including a £25.7million option to buy at the end of the season.

The 21-year-old midfielder is not the only youngster heading out. Spurs have also signed off on Mikey Moore’s temporary switch to Bundesliga side Koln, with the final details of that loan now being completed. Left-back Souza is on the move as well, bound for Porto on loan until the end of the campaign.

Even as players stream out, Tottenham are still trying to arm Roberto De Zerbi with more firepower. The club are pushing to bring in another attacker before the deadline and remain in talks with Everton over a deal for Iliman Ndiaye.

There is another storyline running parallel with those negotiations. In a separate move, Everton are working on a deal to bring Richarlison back to Goodison Park, two years after he left for north London.

De Zerbi laid out the situation bluntly over the weekend, confirming that Richarlison has asked to leave, joining Sarr and Kevin Danso in seeking exits. Sunderland are interested in Danso on loan.

“He said too many times [that] he wants to leave. Danso came to me two days ago, and he said he wants to leave, and Pape Sarr, the same, but he suffer[ed] a small injury, but he is almost ready to train,” the Spurs head coach said.

The Italian made it clear he will not stand in anyone’s way — provided the club’s conditions are met.

“I love these players, they are great guys, I have very good relationships, but if they want to leave, they have to bring the solution, the economic solution, to the club, and they can go, and we find other players.”

The message is stark: bring a deal that suits Tottenham, and the door is open.
