Reports have surfaced suggesting that Wilfred Ndidi has ended his eight-year marriage to Dinma Fortune. The Nigerian captain is said to be in a new relationship with a different woman.
The couple married in 2019 in a grand ceremony attended by notable Nigerian footballers like Kanu Nwankwo and Kelechi Iheanacho. But it appears they have been separated for more than a year, with divorce proceedings reportedly underway.
Signs of Separation
Neither Ndidi nor Fortune has publicly confirmed the split. However, signs hint at the breakup: Fortune removed all Ndidi-related content from her Instagram and unfollowed him. She also posted an expired story seemingly directed at Ndidi's rumored new partner, captioned "Yikes; Loser Behaviour."
New Relationship with Njidechukwuka
Sources say Ndidi is now dating a Nigerian woman named Njidechukwuka, known as Ndjekaah. The pair have been together for over two months and appear serious. Ndjekaah was recently seen supporting Ndidi during Nigeria's 2-1 victory against Madagascar.
She has interacted with Ndidi on social media, including comments featuring eternity and love emojis. A fan even accused her of taking over some of the belongings previously linked to Fortune, such as a car bought by Ndidi.
Fortune Moves On
Dinma Fortune, who focuses on beauty and lifestyle content, seems to have moved forward, dedicating herself to raising their daughter, Jaina, born in 2020.
