Woltemade Praises Spalletti's Huge Aura at Bianconeri

Justin Woltemade says he needed only one meeting to understand why Luciano Spalletti commands such respect in the dressing room – and in his own family living room.

The German striker, on loan at Bianconeri from Newcastle after a summer move, spoke to DAZN about his first months in Italy and the impact of working under the Tuscan coach. “When I met Spalletti for the first time with my family, we all thought one single thing: aura,” Woltemade recalled. “He has a huge aura, he seems calm, but he is very clear in what he wants both on the pitch and off it.”

That first impression has shaped everything since. Woltemade describes an environment built for growth, with Spalletti drilling into details from the moment he walked through the door. There has been no easing-in period, no soft launch.

“He is helping me a lot and immediately began working closely with me to help me improve. I am certain I will become a better player under him,” the forward said.
