"Today we are presenting much more than an agreement to organise a competition," said Louzan at the Turkish Football Federation headquarters. Three Historic Stadiums to Host Matches

The tournament will be played across three of Istanbul’s famous stadiums, combining to hold 150,000 fans:

  • Fenerbahce’s Chobani Stadium: Capacity 48,000 - Hosts the first semi-final on February 2, where Barcelona faces Atletico Madrid.
  • Besiktas Tupras Stadium: Capacity 42,590 - Hosts the second semi-final on February 3, featuring Real Sociedad against Real Madrid.
  • Galatasaray’s Ali Sami Yen Stadium: Capacity 52,000 - Venue for the final on February 6.

Financial Impact and Fan Expectations

This temporary move to Istanbul preserves the lucrative format the RFEF introduced recently.
