According to Transfermarkt, citing journalist Resat Can Ozbudak, the 30-year-old has reached an agreement with UAE side Al-Jazira. The move drops him straight back into the Gulf football landscape he knows well from his time at Al-Nassr, and it reunites him with another Brazilian talent: Malcom, formerly of Al-Hilal.

The deal is straightforward but lucrative. Ozbudak reports that Al-Jazira have tied Talisca down on a two-year contract, with an option for a third season. His annual salary will exceed €10 million, a figure that underlines why the forward remains a prized asset in the region.
