Camavinga's Future at Real Madrid: Offers from PSG, United, and Juventus

Real Madrid’s midfield, long the envy of Europe, is bracing for a shake-up. Jose Mourinho wants a new face in the engine room, and that almost certainly means someone has to go.

Right now, all fingers point in one direction: Eduardo Camavinga.

The 23-year-old arrived in Madrid as one of Europe’s brightest prospects, a bundle of energy and anticipation. Yet another flat campaign has changed the mood around him. When Real needed someone to seize games, to impose himself, Camavinga never quite made the leap. At one stage, he even slipped behind Thiago Pitarch in Mourinho’s pecking order – a telling detail in a squad where reputations usually carry weight.

That dip in status has not scared off suitors. Far from it.

PSG, United and Juventus circle

Paris Saint-Germain have been tracking Camavinga with intent, tempted by the idea of bringing the French international back home. The profile fits: young, technically gifted, already schooled at the highest level and with room to grow.

Now Manchester United have joined the chase. According to journalist Miguel Serrano, the Premier League club have formally asked about Camavinga’s situation and the conditions for a summer move.

United’s midfield is being ripped up and rebuilt. Casemiro has gone. Manuel Ugarte is expected to follow. Interest in Aurelien Tchouameni has been well documented, but Old Trafford’s recruitment team are also running the rule over Camavinga, sensing an opportunity if Madrid decide to cash in.

They are not alone. Juventus have made similar enquiries, sounding out the numbers and the feasibility of a deal as they look to refresh their own core.

Three giants, one unsettled talent. The market has spoken.

Madrid set the price – but the player digs in

Inside the Santiago Bernabeu, the stance is clear. Camavinga is not on the “untouchable” list. Real Madrid are open to offers and have put a €60 million price tag on him. For clubs of the size of PSG, Manchester United and Juventus, that figure is serious but manageable, especially for a player with his age profile and ceiling.

There is, however, one major complication.

Camavinga does not want to leave.

Despite the frustrations of last season, despite losing prominence and minutes, he remains determined to fight for his place under Mourinho. He believes there is still a role for him in Madrid’s future and has shown no inclination to push for an exit.

That resolve sets up a tense stand-off between the club’s strategic planning and the player’s personal ambition. Madrid know that if a new midfielder arrives, someone in the current group has to make way. On form and status, Camavinga is the most expendable. On potential and resale value, he is also the most attractive asset to move on.

A fluid situation with high stakes

For now, everything hinges on Madrid’s next move in the market. If Mourinho gets the reinforcement he wants, the pressure to offload will spike. In that scenario, Camavinga will find himself right at the centre of the storm, with three heavyweight clubs ready to offer him a fresh start and a leading role.

If Madrid fail to land their target, the equation changes. Keeping a hungry, motivated 23-year-old who is desperate to prove himself suddenly looks less like a problem and more like an opportunity.

The summer is long, the phone lines are open, and €60 million will not scare off any of his admirers.

The question now is simple: will Eduardo Camavinga bend to the market’s pull, or will he force his way back into Mourinho’s plans in the white shirt he is still reluctant to give up?
