Inés García Santos, a Spanish model, influencer, and content creator, shared an Instagram Story with the caption: "My Ballon d'Or campaign starts now," right before a photoshoot. This sparked renewed discussion about Yamal’s chances.
While Yamal refrains from promoting himself, García Santos seems ready to advocate for him through her platform, bringing a new angle to the conversation around his Ballon d'Or hopes.

The forward’s performances during the 2025/26 season back up his nomination convincingly. He finished the campaign with 24 goals and 17 assists across club and international matches, earning the title of 2025/26 LaLiga Player of the Season.
