Jordan Graham in Hospital After Serious Accident

Former Birmingham City winger Jordan Graham is in hospital receiving specialist treatment after what has been described as a “serious road traffic accident”.

The 31-year-old, an Aston Villa academy graduate who went on to play across the EFL, was injured earlier this month. Details of the incident have not been disclosed, but a statement released by the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) on behalf of his family confirmed he is under expert medical care.

Graham’s family, the PFA said, are “incredibly grateful for the care he is receiving” and have asked for privacy while they focus on his recovery. They have requested that people do not contact them directly, with any further updates to come only “when appropriate”.

Career Journey

Graham’s journey through the professional game has been long and varied. After emerging from Aston Villa’s youth ranks, he joined Wolves and made 17 senior appearances, learning the hard way through a string of loan moves at Ipswich Town, Bradford City, Oxford United and Fulham.

His most prominent spell came at Birmingham City, where he featured 49 times in the Championship between 2021 and 2023 after signing from Gillingham. Across his career he has amassed 188 senior appearances, the last of them for Leyton Orient, whom he left in 2025.

Clubs where he made his mark have rallied around him. Gillingham said in a statement: “Everyone at the club is thinking of Jordan and his family at this time. We wish him a full and swift recovery.”

Leyton Orient added a simple, heartfelt message: “We’re all with you JG.”

For now, the football stops and the focus narrows to a hospital ward, a family, and a fight back to health.
