Despite his recent heroics, Torres’ future at Barcelona is uncertain, with less than a year left on his contract. Meanwhile, the Catalan club is looking to strengthen their attack by pursuing Julian Alvarez, aiming to find a long-term replacement for Robert Lewandowski.

Torres had his best season yet with Barcelona last year, netting 16 league goals in 33 matches, even though he started only 23 of those games. This makes his situation all the more intriguing as the club chases new talent up front.
