Mbappe Scores 100th Goal for Real Madrid with a Brace to Defeat Barcelona

Kylian Mbappe reached an impressive milestone by netting his 100th goal for Real Madrid during a 2-1 win against Barcelona at the Camp Nou. The French forward scored both goals, securing victory for Los Blancos and emphasizing team success over personal records.

Mbappe's Scoring Breakdown Across Competitions

  • Total Appearances: 116
  • Goals in La Liga: 67
  • Champions League: 25
  • Copa del Rey: 4
  • Club World Cup: 2
  • UEFA Super Cup: 1
  • Spanish Super Cup: 1

Mbappe's first goal came from a deflected effort off his thigh, followed by a second where he finished a late assist from Eduardo Camavinga.

Focus on Team Over Individual Achievements

After the match, Mbappe shared, "I'm very happy, everyone knows I like to score goals and help the team with that. But today, it’s just a detail because the most important thing is the team’s victory and how we win as a group."He added that the win boosts the squad’s confidence and expects many more goals to come but stressed that individual milestones are secondary.

Call for Unity in the Title Race

Mbappe highlighted the importance of collective effort to stay competitive. "We knew we had to play like men, but also as a team. If we want to achieve things this year, we have to do them as a group... anyone who doubts our quality is wrong," he said. He acknowledged that remaining contenders for the title is key for Real Madrid.
