Jose Mourinho Blocks AC Milan's Loan Bid for Real Madrid's Endrick

Jose Mourinho Rejects AC Milan's Loan Offer for Endrick

Jose Mourinho, head coach of Real Madrid, has turned down AC Milan's request to loan Brazilian forward Endrick this January. Despite the player's limited game time due to a pre-season injury, Mourinho insists the youngster remains an important part of his long-term plans.

Milan's Transfer Setback

AC Milan faced disappointment in their pursuit of Endrick ahead of the winter transfer window. The club hoped to take advantage of the forward’s recent lack of minutes by arranging a short-term loan. They viewed the 19-year-old as an ideal addition to boost their attack mid-season. Mourinho, however, blocked any move, making clear that Endrick will stay with Real Madrid for the rest of the campaign.

Mourinho Comments on Endrick's Playing Time

The young forward missed over a month of action after suffering a pre-season injury. This setback limited his chances to make an impact early in the season. Speaking to TNT Sports Brasil, Mourinho explained why Endrick has not yet featured regularly.

"It is true that I haven’t given him a real chance after his recovery, but against Villarreal he was about to come on. Then we scored a goal, and with one player less, it’s normal that the coach considers other options," Mourinho said.

Keeping the Rising Star at Real Madrid

Despite stiff competition among the forwards, Mourinho remains confident in Endrick's talent and potential. He refuses to approve any temporary departure to satisfy AC Milan. The Italian club had believed a loan would offer the player valuable first-team experience while strengthening their frontline. With this option off the table, they will need to look elsewhere for reinforcements.

Looking Ahead for Endrick

Endrick must stay patient and keep pushing for a place in Mourinho’s starting eleven. The coach stressed that the teenager will have his opportunity to shine in due course.

"I don’t think Endrick needs to go on loan and I believe he can have a lot of success here," Mourinho concluded.

The busy winter fixture list is expected to give more chances for squad rotation, which should allow Endrick to gain more playing time soon.
