Nottingham Forest Sign Ousmane Diomande for £34.3m
Nottingham Forest have made their biggest move of the summer, sealing the signing of Ivory Coast defender Ousmane Diomande from Sporting on a four-year contract in a deal worth around £34.3m (€40m).
This is not a speculative punt. This is a manager-driven signing.
Oliver Glasner pushed hard for Diomande, having already tried to take him to Crystal Palace. Now, with Forest backing him in the market, he finally has the centre-back he wanted to build around.

Chief football officer George Syrianos underlined how closely Diomande fits the profile Forest have been targeting.
