Tottenham Secures Loan Deal for Manchester City's Omar Marmoush with £60m Buy Clause

Tottenham Hotspur have reached an agreement to bring Omar Marmoush on loan from Manchester City, including a compulsory purchase option set at £60 million next summer. The 27-year-old Egyptian forward moves to Spurs shortly after the club secured Brazilian player Savio from City for an initial £75 million.

Marmoush transferred to City from Eintracht Frankfurt in January for £59 million. Despite his potential, he struggled to get playing time behind Erling Haaland during his spell at the Etihad Stadium. He appeared as a substitute in City's 3-0 loss to Arsenal in the Community Shield and was unused in their 2-1 Premier League victory over Bournemouth.

Spurs' Summer Transfer Activity

This season, Tottenham's spending has already surpassed £312 million. The club added Mateus Fernandes from West Ham, Sandro Tonali from Newcastle, and Jan Paul van Hecke from Brighton. Defenders Marcos Senesi, Andy Robertson, and goalkeeper Martin Dubravka joined on free transfers.
