Yvann Titi Signs Contract Extension with ESTAC Troyes

Yvann Titi has nailed his colours to the ESTAC Troyes mast.

The 20-year-old defender, courted by major French clubs including AS Monaco and Lille OSC, has signed a contract extension with the newly promoted Ligue 1 side that ties him to Troyes until 2029.

It is a bold statement from both player and club. Big names were circling, foreign sides were watching closely this summer, yet Titi chose the project he knows best – the club he has represented for six years.

A World Cup runner-up with France U-17 three years ago, Titi has long been marked out as one to watch. Now he has the stage to prove it.

His profile fits the modern game. Quick across the ground, comfortable in possession, and capable of playing both as a centre-back and at right-back, he gives Stéphane Dumont an extra attacking outlet from deep. That versatility has already earned him trust inside the dressing room.

The reward arrived last weekend. Titi made his Ligue 1 debut as ESTAC opened their campaign with a 0-0 draw against Paris FC, stepping into the top flight after playing a key role in promotion.

Last season in Ligue 2, he delivered five assists in 20 appearances – impressive numbers for a defender and a clear sign of his willingness to surge forward and influence games in the final third.

Now the challenge sharpens. The opposition is stronger, the spotlight brighter, the margin for error slimmer. Troyes have moved early to secure one of their most promising assets for the long term.

The question is no longer whether Yvann Titi is ready for Ligue 1. It is how far, and how fast, he can rise from here.
