Women’s Super League 2026/27 Transfer Market Dates Announced
The Women’s Super League has locked in its calendar for the 2026/27 transfer market, and the countdown starts this summer.
The summer window will open on Tuesday, June 16, giving clubs a crucial stretch to reshape squads ahead of the new campaign. From that date, teams can register new signings right up until 11pm (UK time) on Thursday, September 3, when the window slams shut and plans either look complete or suddenly exposed.
Attention will then swing to mid-season reinforcements. The winter transfer window is set to open on Monday, January 4, 2027, and will run until 11pm on Thursday, February 4. One month for clubs to fix what went wrong, cover injuries, or gamble on a late push.
Last summer’s business underlined just how decisive these windows can be. Chloe Kelly, Taylor Hinds, Anneke Borbe, and Olivia Smith all arrived in the summer, laying down a fresh spine for the squad. Smilla Holmberg followed in January, while Barbora Votikova came in on loan, adding experience and depth at a key moment in the season.
The dates are set. Now the real question: who moves next, and which club uses this window to change its trajectory?
