Zinédine Zidane to be Announced as France’s National Team Manager on July 28

The Fédération Française de Football (FFF) has confirmed that the new manager succeeding Didier Deschamps will be revealed on Tuesday, July 28. Rumors strongly suggest Zinédine Zidane as the choice for this high-profile position.

A press conference is scheduled for 11am at the FFF headquarters in Paris where Zidane will be introduced to the media alongside FFF president Philippe Diallo.

After leaving Real Madrid in 2021, Zidane has been away from coaching. This appointment marks his anticipated return to the international scene by taking charge of Les Bleus. He is expected to sign a four-year contract that will keep him at the helm until at least the 2030 World Cup.

His first match managing France will come in late September with an away fixture against Turkey in the 2026-2027 Nations League.
